Fabulate authentication is a secure way to link social accounts so we can automatically pull post performance data from live campaigns. It’s a small change that will make a big difference.

Whether you’re a creator managing your own account or a talent manager supporting multiple creators, here’s everything you need to know.

What is Authentication?

Authentication is a secure, read-only connection to a creator’s social account. It gives Fabulate access to just the analytics for campaign content - no posting power, no DMs, no control over the account.

What it does:

• Gives Fabulate post-level insights in real-time

• Lets clients track performance without delays

• Removes the need for manual reporting

What it doesn't do:

• We can’t post, edit, or message

• We don’t see any private content

• We don’t take control of the account

Why it is great:

• Less admin: No more chasing or uploading screenshots

• Real-time performance: Clients can view campaign results as they happen

• Stronger results: Quicker insights = faster payments, smoother wrap-ups

How to Authenticate

Follow these steps to authenticate a talent account, whether you're a talent manager or a creator managing your own profile.

If you're a creator managing your own account:

Steps to authenticate as a creator managing your own account

1. Log into Fabulate
   ‍
2. Go to your Manage Workspace
   ‍‍
3. Click ‘Connect your social accounts’
   ‍‍
4. Follow the prompts for Instagram, TikTok or other platforms

If you're a talent manager:

1. Log into Fabulate
   ‍
2. Go to your Manage Workspace
   ‍‍
3. Click ‘Connect” next to the creator you’re wanting to authenticate
   ‍
4. Click “send verification email” and pop in the creator’s email - this will send them a link to authenticate their account and link it to your talent agency. No back and forth needed!

FAQs

Is it safe for creators?

Yes! It’s the industry standard. Fabulate only has read-only access to post analytics.

Can I revoke access?

100%. It can be disconnected anytime from the creator’s Fabulate profile settings.

What if a creator doesn't authenticate?

They can still participate in campaigns, but they’ll need to manually send performance data - which adds extra admin time. Clients are likely to lean towards working with creators that are authenticated.

What platforms are supported?

Currently Instagram, TikTok and YouTube - we’ll keep you posted on any updates.
